Nerium International - Fraudulent Debit transaction from my account - CROOKS!
Yesterday, I found a pending transaction on my checking account - $139 from Nerium in Addison, Texas. I did NOT authorize this, and neither did my husband - I never even heard of Nerium until this happened.
Cancelled my debit card immediately. Today the transaction went thru, and they provided their Customer service number. I called them and told them they had made a fraudulent charge and I wanted it reversed immediately. The customer service rep asked for my name, and the last 4 digits of my card, which I refused to give him.
I read him the authorization number, which he had no record of, and said he would report it to the police and asked what city and state he was in - guess what - The Philippines! I cursed a few times, said their company is a crook, and hung up. I will be disputing the transaction, but don't hold out much hope of recovering the money.
What can I do? How can I prevent this from happening again?:
Reason of review: Fraudulent debit from my checking account.
Monetary Loss: $139.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Nerium International Cons: Fraudulent practice, Fraudulent charges.

Unfortunately your card was compromised online, and the first place you should call is your financial institution to report the charge. If you have any more questions about Nerium International, please call 1-855-463-7486.
We need to sue this company in a civil lawsuit. This company is a joke.
This very situation just happened to me within the last 5 days. I plan on taking action. I think they are the ones doing this and I also believe that encourage their so called distributors to steal money from people or somehow get their account information. I had never even heard of this company prior to seeing it on my account.
The research i have done on this company is just horrific.
People need to take action. These people are complete frauds, and thieves.
Your credit card has been compromised and someone purchased products from Nerium. There are credit card thieves that makes purchases at companies and then sell the items on e-bay and Amazon.
Nerium works hard to catch these fraudulent charges. This is not done from Nerium corporate. Unfortunately credit card numbers are sold online.
We are all victims of these predators. Has nothing to do with the Nerium company.
I don't see how you can blame a company for someone stealing your debit card info from the philipines... You said they called the cops for you - what exactly did you want them to do about your info being stolen?
This happened to me as well but I immediatley called my bank first to dispute it and the money didn't come out my account.
